Man Falls Off Mt. Hope Bridge
A worker fell about 30 feet off scaffolding, and was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

A worker on the Mt. Hope Bridge was rushed to a hospital after falling off the bridge Tuesday morning, reportsEastBayRI.com. The man was working on the bridge, when he fell 30 feet off scaffolding, according to EastBayRI.com.
The worker was transported by Bristol Rescue around 9:15 a.m. to Rhode Island Hospital. His medical condition is unknown at this time.
The man was not an employee of the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority, but a subcontractor.
"We are deeply saddened by this incident and are awaiting the results of the investigation," said David Darlington, chairman of the RITBA.
Messages left with Bristol Rescue were not immediately returned as of Tuesday morning.
