Big Honor for Warren's Kerry Chaffer

She was accepted to the state chapter of the Women Presidents' Organization.

The following is a news release:

The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) announced today that Kerry Chaffer has been accepted as a member of its Rhode Island Chapter.

“I am very pleased to welcome Kerry to the WPO,” said Marsha Firestone, Ph.D., President and Founder of the WPO. “As a peer advisory organization for women business leaders of multi-million dollar companies, WPO membership is highly selective. Kerry’s membership in the WPO is a testament to her incredible success in business.”

Chaffer, a resident of Warren, is Partner at HCC Marketing in Barrington. She joined HCC Marketing in 1989 after working at several other New England agencies and was named a partner in 1994.

“I’m very excited about this opportunity and look forward to sharing ideas and experiences with this accomplished group of women,” noted Chaffer.

Founded in 1987, HCC Marketing is a full-service marketing communications company with extensive experience in financial services, non-profit and human services organizations, as well as other categories including retail, hospitality, business to business, and more.

“We could not be more excited to have Kerry join the Rhode Island Chapter of the WPO,” said Rhode Island Chapter Chair Susan Keller. “Through confidential and collaborative peer learning groups, WPO members learn new strategies for taking their businesses to the next level.”

Requirements for membership to the WPO include annual revenue of at least $2 million ($1 million for service-based companies) and an ownership interest in the company. For more information about membership to the WPO, contact Bari Ray, Membership Coordinator, at bari@womenpresidentsorg.com or 212-688-4114.
