Senator Stops by 'Innovative' Business in Bristol

U.S. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse spent part of Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 21, visiting Goetz Composites in Bristol.

R.I. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse visited Goetz Composites in Bristol on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 21, as the first in a series of stops at “innovative businesses that are helping to strengthen the state’s economy,” according to Whitehouse’s press secretary in Rhode Island. The Senator is shown here with Eric Goetz, chief technology officer at the company. Goetz Composites builds carbon fiber boats and other products, including some of the most successful racing boats in the world. Earlier on Tuesday, Senator Whitehouse hosted a roundtable discussion in Providence with other members of the business community to kick off these visits.
