Shop Locally During Small Business Saturday
Support local businesses by shopping local today.
Today is national , a movement created to keep hard earned dollars within the local economy during the holiday season.
Many businesses in Bristol and Warren will be offering "Small Business Saturday" deals today, including in Bristol. Store owner Peggy Hicks says she is very excited to kick off the holiday shopping season this weekend with a number of bargains.
"We at The Knotty Dog are really excited about the small business saturday movement," she said. "We will be running 3 or 4 specials for that weekend."

owner Victoria Fonseca has also been promoting the local shopping day on facebook, as well as the owner of , and many more small businesses. One Rhode Island blogger has even put together a list of Small Business Saturday deals around Rhode Island, including deals at and Green River Silver Co., in Bristol and and Luca Boutique in Warren.
So get out there and support and celebrate the community by doing your holiday shopping in town!
