Rhode Island Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse stopped by another Bristol company Monday morning, Jan. 27, to learn a bit more about was described as “the innovative work it is doing.”
Whitehouse visited Hall Composites on Broadcommon Road. The visit was part of a “series of visits to innovative businesses that are helping to improve Rhode Island’s economy and promote job growth,” according to his Rhode Island press spokesman.
In particular, the Senator learned more about the composites industry.
Since 1984, Hall Composites has been a manufacturer of specialized composite products, including “composite components for everything from America’s Cup racing yachts to airplanes, submarines, and power-generating underwater tidal turbines,” according to the company.
During his visit, Sen. Whitehouse heard from the Hall management team about the company’s plans for the future and how he can help support the success of Rhode Island’s innovation economy at the federal level, according to his press secretary.
