100+ Rhode Islanders volunteer to clean-up Central Falls

Need your faith restored in citizens? 100+ Rhode Islanders recently showed up in Central Falls, RI to clean-up the trash in Jenks Park - the centerpiece of the city. The population of Central Falls is roughly 19,000, meaning that 0.5% of the City’s citizens came together for this event. To put that in perspective, that’s the equivalent of 43,043 residents of New York City coming out to clean-up Central Park!

The clean-up was a temporary solution to the City’s trash problem. The long term solution is currently being crowdfunded at citizinvestor.com/project/clean-up-cf-new-bins-in-jenks-park. 38 citizens have already pledged to donate $1,906 to the project, but the city still needs to raise $8,138 before December 21. With only 46 days until the end of the crowdfunding campaign, this project needs your help! Learn more at citizinvestor.com/project/clean-up-cf-new-bins-in-jenks-park.
