The Ocean State Waves, the newest entry in the New England Collegiate Baseball League, is launching an open house to spread awareness for its first summer season.

Come learn more about the Ocean State Waves, the newest entry in the New England Collegiate Baseball League. The NECBL ranks among the top summer collegiate baseball programs in the country. Currently, more than 250 alumni are playing in Major League Baseball organizations.

The Waves will make a splash in the NECBL this summer. They will play a 44-game schedule, including 22 home games at Old Mountain Field.

Yes, this is the same collegiate / amateur level league as the Gulls. I'm not sure if an exact schedule has been released yet, but that probably means 6 to 12 games against one another, split between home and away.

Yes, the Ocean State Waves will play in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL), along with the Newport Gulls.
