Celebration Officially Underway

The sun is shining and people are lining Hope and High streets as the Bristol 4th of July celebration is officially underway.
Town Crier Gerry MacNeill kicked off the celebration during patriotic exercises at the Colt School just after 8:30 a.m. The parade is scheduled to step off at 10:30 at the corner of Hope and Chestnut streets.
