Holy Weekend Services in Bristol, Warren

Local churches will be hosting Good Friday, Saturday vigils and Easter Sunday services.

Holy week continues this weekend, as several churches will offer Holy Thursday and Good Friday service, Saturday evening vigils and Easter Sunday service.

  • Maundy Thursday, April 5th at 7:30 pm
    The Tenebrae Service is a beautiful and moving liturgy of Light and Shadows recounting our Lord’s passion and crucifixion. Holy Communion is shared at this service.
  • Easter Vigil Saturday, April 7th at 7:30pm
    The New Fire. Candlelit Exsultet. Scripture Stories enacted by folks from . Easter bells! Champagne and hors d'oeuvres reception afterward!
  • Easter Sunrise Service Sunday, April 8th at 6 am at the Colt State Park Chapel
    Join us for our Easter Sunrise Service – rain or shine! Holy Communion will be served.
  • Festival Easter Service Sunday, April 8th at 10 am

    Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper at St. Jean Baptiste Mission Church.
  • Good Friday of the Passion of the Lord, April 6th 2 pm
    Stations of the Cross Procession will begin at 2 pm at St. Mary of the Bay Church (weather permitting) and ending at St. Jean Baptiste Mission Church (Stations will be inside St. Mary of the Bay Church in case of inclement weather) At 3 p.m. the Celebration of the Lord’s Passion will be held at St. Jean Baptiste Mission Church.
  • Holy Saturday, April 7th Easter Vigil Mass 7:30 pm
    Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Bay Church
  • Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord, April 8th
    Masses 7:15 am & 10:30 am will be held at St. Mary of the Bay Church. A  9 am Mass will be held at St. Jean Baptiste Mission Church (signed for the deaf/hearing impaired).
    A Children’s Easter Egg Hunt will follow the 10:30 am Mass at St. Mary of the Bay Church.
