Here are five things you should know today in Bristol and Warren.
- Today will start out mostly cloudy with possible thunderstorms; the sun will come out but rain is still possible this afternoon.
- A special Bristol Town Council meeting takes place tonight at 6 pm. The policy/community affairs subcommittee of the School Committee meets tonight at 6 pm. The Bristol Harbor Commission meets at 7 pm.
- The first segment in a four-week class at Blithewold takes place today at 10 am.
- A to benefit the Roger Williams University Women's Basketball team is today at Green Valley Country Club in Portsmouth.
- There's a "Meet the Coaches" meeting tonight for parents and children interested in participating in Mt. Hope High School Fall Sports. The meeting begins at 5:30 pm.
