St. Elizabeth Church to Raffle Off New Car

Who wouldn't want to win a new car? Tickets are still available!

Driving by Saint Elizabeth Church in Bristol on a sunny day, you may have spotted a shiny car with some colorful decals parked on the sidewalk and wondered, "why haven't the police slapped a ticket on that car for parking like that?"

Well, truth be told, the car is actually on display to promote a large raffle hosted by the church. And for $15, you could be the new owner of that car.

For the past several months, members of and the Santo Cristo Committee have been promoting the raffle and selling tickets for their new raffle. In addition to the vehicle, which was donated by the Anjos family who owns Pride Hyundai and AUTOMAX of Seekonk, MA, the raffle also features an early bird drawing with a pretty large prize.

Currently, tickets are still available and cost $15 each. A ticket qualifies an entry for both the vehicle and the early bird prize of $500. The early bird prize will be drawn on Sunday May 6, at the church Golf Tournament. The grand prize drawing for the vehicle will be held at the Santo Cristo Feast on Sunday, June 10, at 9:45 pm at Saint Elizabeth Church.
