FREE DAY

F R E E   D A Y offers free Museum admission, complimentary soup and cider, family activities, a Museum Store SALE, and a Blowout Trunk Sale featuring ATLANTIS WEATHERGEAR and CLOUDVEIL MOUNTAIN WEAR.  This sale provides a great opportunity for sailors, skiiers, and outdoor enthusiasts to buy high quality apparel and gear at discounted prices. 



The Museum will also open the newly remodeled
Mosbacher Room, featuring the collection of the famous America's Cup sailor, for visitors to tour.  The room is traditionally used for small meetings and rental events and includes beautiful photographs, scrapbooks, andtrophies.  Visitors are also welcome to tour Building 28, the Museums restoration building which currently houses The RELIANCE Project. RELIANCE Project volunteers are currently underway constructing a 1/6th scalemodel of the 1903 defender.


We are pleased to announce that F R E E   D A Y coincides with special events at other Bristol organizations.  Mt. Hope Farm is offering free admission for FARMFEST, Blithewold has a large celebration including free admission to the grounds and an apple pie contest and the Bristol Art Museum is offering free admission as well.  Visit each organization’s website for more information.
