Linden Place Mansion Presents Roz Chua and "I Cantori"

Linden Place will host a fireside afternoon of music in the mansion’s historic ballroom with celebrated pianist Rosalind Chua and friends featuring “I Cantori”, Providence College’s prestigious choral ensemble, on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the ballroom at Linden Place.  The program will highlight vocal, piano and
string music from the Baroque period to the 20th century including seldom heard songs from Johannes Brahms and Franz Schubert.

Rosalind Chua, pianist and resident of Bristol for more than 20 years, has performed as a recitalist, in chamber groups, and with orchestras in the Orient, New England, New York,
Michigan, Toronto and Vancouver, Canada, Bavaria and Great Britain, just to name a few. Her musical talent has been described as “rich, vigorous and exciting.”

The concert will also feature “I Cantori”, a choral ensemble at Providence College representing some of the finest student singers in the United States specializing in choral music that spans all eras.
