Parenting Support Group

Parenting Support Group meets monthly on the third Sunday, at 6 PM.  The meeting on Feb. 17 is postponed due to inclement weather.  This is an opportunity for parents of school age children to meet with each other and a mental health professional to discuss the everyday challenges of raising children today including bedtime, oppositional behavior, homework completion, building self-esteem and other issues parents bring. All parents are welcome, single and partnered, traditional and non-traditional, and parents in blended families. There is no charge for the group but participants are invited to bring a donation of non-perishable food or personal care items for the Bristol Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen.  Childcare is available but parents planning to bring children must call Jennifer DeWolf at 935-3359 by Friday to let her know the number of children and their ages
