Seeing Well: A photography workshop with Jan Armor

A good picture is one you haven’t seen before. (When you consider that 3,000 pictures are uploaded on Facebook every second, this can be quite a difficult task nowadays.) However, a good picture can also show something in a way no one has seen before, taken from a unique point of view, yours. This workshop is about training your eye to see well and deeply, and to use your heart and your head as well as your eyes to make pictures that can speak to others.

There are many facets to creating great pictures, including having the right light, employing imaginative composition, and using an origin approach. That is what our workshop is about—teaching techniques for making pictures that end up with something special within the frame, not only interesting, but unique and evocative.

Join like-minded photographers for this five-hour hands-on event. Our studio will be the soft evening light in Blithewold’s lovely gardens.
