Alan McKenzie, 62: Founding Father, Over The Hill Motorcycle Club

Services are scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, in Warren.

Alan McKenzie, 62, died at home in Warren on Sunday, July 28, 2013.

He leaves his companion Debra Vargas.

He was employed as a cutter for Microfibers of Pawtucket. 

He was a founding father of the Over The Hill Motorcycle Club, Dudek's Duck Pin Bowling League, Bristol Men's Softball League and Middlebrook Golf League.

Born in Fall River, a son of the late George and Margaret (Alves) McKenzie.

He was the father of Jason McKenzie, step-father of Joseph Vargas III and Cory S. Vargas. Brother of George McKenzie Jr of Warren.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, with a Memorial Service immediately starting at 7 p.m. Burial in RI Veterans Cemetery, 301 So County Trail, Exeter.
