Fern H. Mayo
Fern Hope (Gordon) Mayo, 86, of Maple Road, Warren passed away unexpectedly on August 6, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest Mayo, who passed away March 15, 2012. Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Margaret (Ingram) Gordon.
Mrs. Mayo was a ceramic artist before retiring.
She was the mother of Kathleen Mayo Marino, Ernest G. Mayo and his wife Suzanne and Anthony P. Mayo and his wife Kristine; grandmother of Kathryn, Kenneth and Matthew Marino and Scott, Gregory and Sonja Mayo and sister of Robert Gordon of Warren, Karen Chalmers of Florence, MA and the late William Gordon and Myrtle Freeborn.

Frank J. Deleo, Sr.
Mr. Frank J. DeLeo, Sr. of Sandwich, MA died Sunday, August 5, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Born in Bristol, RI on December 7, 1931, he was the son of Matteo and Mary DeLeo. He leaves behind his loving and faithful wife of 58 years, Josephine "Joey" (Vitello) DeLeo and two sons, Thomas F. DeLeo and Frank J. DeLeo, Jr., both of Sandwich, MA.
Mr. DeLeo also had six loving grandchildren, Frank, Nicholas and Gina of Sandwich and Andrew, Melissa and Anna Lee of Colorado, along with two brothers Matthew M. DeLeo and Michael G. DeLeo both originally from Bristol.
After receiving honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, Frank graduated from Providence College, attaining the Who's Who Among Colleges and University designation in 1957. He joined the Life Insurance Industry after graduating and spent the next 35 years managing, selling and creating lifetime relationships. Mr. DeLeo managed for the first 20 years as Assistant Manager for The Metropolitan in Newport, RI. He then moved to Hingham, MA in 1963, where he served as general manager for both Acacia Mutual and Phoenix Mutual's Boston offices for the next 10 years. he returned to personal production in 1974 and attained Hall of Fame status with the Phoenix over the next 12 years of his career.
In Hingham, Frank was an active member of his Catholic faith, at the Resurrection Parish. He spent countless hours coaching youth in Hingham Pop Warner football, John Barker Basketball and Hingham Little League and Babe Ruth baseball leagues from 1966 to 1977.
Frank semi-retired with Joey and moved to Vero Beach, Florida in 1986 and fully retired in 1992 before returning to Sandwich in 2006. As was the case in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Frank loved creating new relationships and enjoyed his life and new friendships in Vero Beach. An avid outdoorsman Frank enjoyed golfing, Fishing and following the Red Sox, Patirots and Celtics. He enjoyed cooking but his main passion in life was Family. For Frank, everything revolved around "The Family."
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, August 10, 2012 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol, RI. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visitiing hours will be Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, RI. Anne (Romano) Ligeiro
Mrs. Anne (Romano) Ligeiro, 94, of Griswold Avenue, Bristol, died Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late John P. Ligeiro. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Troiano) Romano. A homemaker, she was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1935 and a graduate with a business degree from the former Johnson and Wales Business School now Johnson and Wales University. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol and enjoyed spending time reading, sewing and knitting and an avid sports lover, she enjoyed watching Womens Basketball, Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots games. She is survived by three daughters, Patricia A. Bourne, Eleanor Ligeiro and Donna Ligeiro, five grandchildren, Michele LeBlanc and her husband Paul, Nicole Espinoza and her husband Jerry, Jodi Del Razo and her husband Raphael, Jeffrey Day and his wife Jessica and Bethany Day, four great grandchildren, Hooper LeBlanc, Alex Hernandez, Elia and Lillian Grace Del Razo. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Romano in World War II.

Eveline G. (Favreau) Sousa
Mrs. Eveline G. (Favreau)Sousa, 82, of 7 Mason Avenue, Bristol, died Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Sousa.
Born in Warren and a resident of Bristol most of her life and also was a resident of Port Charlotte, FL for a number of years, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn (Morrissette) Favreau. Eveline worked for the Raytheon Corporation in Portsmouth for 10 before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Bristol. Eveline loved crafts, dry flower arranging and was an avid card player, she also was a member of the RI Club in Port Charlotte, FL.
She will sadly missed by her children, Elizabeth "Betty-Ann" Santos, John "Jay" Sousa, Jo-Ann Silva, Linda Caromile, Paul B. Sousa all of Bristol, Joseph M. Sousa of Warren and Mary Ellen Cole of Port Charlotte, FL., thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a sister, Doris Principe of Bristol and two sister-in-laws, Olivia "Olie" Coelho and Natalie Sousa both of Bristol. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Agnes Silvia.
