Eunice was a lifelong resident of Bristol and beloved by so many people whom she touched in town and beyond. She gave selflessly of herself and her time, she was the moral compass and was the type of person we all should strive to be.
She was born in Fall River and resided in Bristol with her father John, mother Dorothy, and sister Janyce on Constitution Street in the first part of her life.
She spent her career working in the insurance industry in various capacities and was well liked and respected by all of her peers. First and foremost she loved her family and shared a mutually deep very strong bond with her son, was faithful congregant of St. Michael’s Church, and loved her 4th of July parade and never missed one.
She had a very close-knit and deeply loved group of friends and the bond they shared is beyond description. Her last days were spent with her family and closest friends
She leaves her son Wade Hanson of Bristol and her sister Janyce McKenzie of Warwick, RI
Her memorial service was held in St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, Bristol.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Bristol Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen, 378 Hope Street, Bristol, RI 02809.
