Linda Dias, 52, Computer Programmer for Library
Her funeral service was Monday from the George Lima Funeral Home in Bristol.
Linda Dias, of Rand Street, Central Falls, formerly of Bristol, passed away on Dec. 11, 2013. She was 52.
She was the partner of Laury Lipponen. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (August) Dias.
She was a graduate of the former Bristol High School and Rhode Island College. She was a computer programmer for the Providence Public Library.
She is survived by her sister, Cynthia Tavares; her brother, Walter Dias, and his wife Joyce; several nieces, nephews and grandnephews.
Her funeral services was held on Monday, Dec. 16, from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., Bristol, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Church in Bristol. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bristol.
