Margaret DeAngelis, 80, Owned Warren Restaurants

She was the co-owner of Dans Wigwam restaurant and DeAngelis Pizzeria in Warren.

Margaret (Peggy) Rose (Gallacher) DeAngelis, passed away on Thursday, 
December 5, 2013, at her home in Riverside. She was 80.

She was born in Norwich, England, a daughter of the late Basil and Nellie (Fulcher) Gerow.

DeAngelis was co-owner of the former Dans Wigwam restaurant and DeAngelis Pizzeria, in Warren, where she worked next to her husband, Domenic (Dan) DeAngelis until their retirement in 2000.

DeAngelis was the mother of Debra (DeAngelis) Conley of Warren, and 
Stephen DeAngelis of Port Washington, NY. She was the sister of Anne Dittmar of Warwick and  Ellen Thompson of North Kingstown. She leaves 3 grandchildren, Brittany, Ian, and Alexandra.

She was a communicant of St Mary of the Bay Church in Warren and a long- 
time member of the German Club in Warren.

Her funeral arrangements were handled by Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where the family received friends on Dec. 9. Her funeral service was held at St Mary of the Bay Church in Warren. Burial was in St Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.
