Nancy Threadgill, 57, Warren Housing Official, Volunteer

Her calling hours are today from the Smith Funeral Home in Warren and her private funeral is Saturday.

Nancy (Felag) Threadgill, 57, of Warren Avenue, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, in Bristol. She was 57.

Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Alexandra (Olszowy) Felag Sr.

Threadgill worked for the Warren Housing Authority as a Section 8 coordinator. She was a member of St Alexander’s Church in Warren and a longtime resident of Warren.

She was the devoted mother of Alexandra Threadgill of Warren, a sister of Sen. Walter Felag Jr. of Warren, Mark Felag of Barrington, John Felag of Milford, Conn., Mary Accrino of Bristol and Jayne Balasco of Warren. She was the daughter-in-law of James and Peggy Threadgill of Parker, TX. She leaves 13 nieces and nephews, Brendan, Stephanie & Brian Felag, Jake & Zeke Felag, Alexandra & Christine Johns, Martin & Millicent Balasco, Nick, Elizabeth, Jack and Kate Felag.

Threadgill was a member of the Warren Youth Soccer Association, the Senate District 10 Democratic Committee, and the Orchard Lake Ladies Axillary. She lived in Dallas, Tex. for 14 years.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where family will receive friends on Friday from 4-8 pm. Her funeral is Saturday at 9 am from the funeral home, with a Mass at 10 am in St Alexander’s Church, Main Street, Warren. Burial will be private.
