Palmira C. [Ellis] Messier: Member, St. Elizabeth Holy Rosary Sodality

Palmira Conceicao [Ellis] Messier, 103, of Silver Creek Manor passed away on Dec. 21, 2012. She was the wife of the late Hiram Messier.

Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Duarte) Ellis. She attended schools. Palmira was a seamstress for US Rubber in Bristol and CT, and also Greco Brothers of Lawrence MA for many years. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality of St. Elizabeth Church.

She is survived by her daughter Eva McGonagle of Bristol and her son David daSilva of Tucson AZ, grandchildren, Cynthia Ann Heywood, Carolyn (Kevin) Kelleher, Barbara (Jim) Bradley, Donna (Bob) Douglas and great grandchildren, Joseph, James, Michael, Bryan, Sherri, Riley, Matthew, James, Stephen, Heather, great- grandchildren, Michaela, Tyler, Samantha, sisters Frances Waggoner, Elsie Ferreira of Warren and Louise Perry of Bristol. She was the sister of the late Mary Silvia, Phoebe Vargas, Manuel Vargas, Emily Cabral and grandson Robert Wright.

Funeral services will be private at Palmira's request.
