Do You Remember Ocean State Plaza?

This week's location to get your wheels turning is Ocean State Plaza in Warren.

Businesses come and go in every state and town. But how far back can you remember?

, Radio Shack, ... Ocean State Plaza is about the closest thing that Warren has to a Route 6 style big-box shopping center. But what did the plaza look like years ago? In the past few years we have seen Job Lot skip down a few doors and new additions such as the Family Dollar that opened up at the end of last year. But think further back and try to remember what other businesses inhabited this location that you may have frequented in past decades.

Post your memories in the comments section below.

I worked at the Big G supermarket(old Job Lot location) when it opened and bought a washing machine at Grant's(new Job Lot location).

Back in my day, Ocean State Job Lot used to be on the opposite side of the building complex...

Back in the 70's - there was Grants, where my husband and I bought our first washer and dryer and some other items for our new apartment in Warren, the grocery store - Big G, then it became an IGA and something else before the Job Lot. The car wash was in existence, I think a Citizens Bank also.
