I'm seeing BMW's and Volvos in that station parking lot. They must be doing very very well. How are we doing with overtime right now? I'm making 60k and having trouble paying for tires on my Saturn. Are youz guys hiring or do I need to know someone? LOL

Jack are you saying that only atheists commit crimes there are plenty of alterboys who would argue with you.
Mark Wyman April 06, 2012 at 08:00 PM
Jack over 83% of the American prision population is Judeo-Christian. Note that atheists, being a moderate proportion of the USA population (about 8-16%) are disproportionately less in the prison populations 0.21%. Just to keep things clear I am not an atheist.

You mean the case where people thretened to kill a 16 year old girl over a banner yes that is something we should be joking about. If atheists have apenchant for banners does that mean Christians have a penchant for attacking young girls.

Jack just to get things streight Hitler was a Christian. As far as the actions of a few this mess went all the way to the top the Catholic Bishop's were well aware of this crime and did their best to cover it up.

The world has turned into a really rough place, even close to home things seem to be getting a little out-of-control. Maybe it's just me, but there seems to be an abundance of arrests on a regular basis in both Towns. When I was working for the PD, I don't remember having 10 or 12 arrests in a week unless it was around the 4th of July. It now seems like it's a regular event having a dozen or so arrests. I give the Warren Police credit, it's a small department with a lot of work to deal with. Bristol's Dept. has grown quite large over the years and seems better equiped. This must be gonna be the norm now....oh well so much for the small quaint Town theory.

Sadly John I have to agree with that, all three towns seem to have an increase in these action's, let hope they mostly stay in the low catagory however, lie Banner theft lol, still cracks me up. ;-}

Jack, 10 to 12 arrest a week does not sound like a big problem. Most of the arrest are for drugs, alcohol and driving without a license. This has been going on since I was a teen in the sixty's but back then drunken drivers and some kids on drugs from Warren were told to go home and not arrested, so no report was written.
Jack Baillargeron April 07, 2012 at 12:54 AM
You are correct on that Barney, I should ave been more clear, it is the frequency of the assaults lately, as in domestic violence that seems to be rising. Of course that could also be just because we see it more in the media too, I guess. I also was around in the 60's also lol. However the alcohol thing seems to be a lot worse now, in its consequenses, I am sure like me, very few had cars. Mostly Barrington seems to be having that problem a lot since I moved here 26 years ago. We don't seem to see it so much in Bristol/Warren. Also the drugs of our days were not as deadly as the drugs of today, bu te pot arrest for just the sake of a person only having pot are really foolish, should make it a ticket like speeding, if they want to enforce it, in my opinion.;-]

I assure you I am not an atheist just not a Christian and as someone who has been persacuted for my beliefs by Christians yes I may resent that. You say you are not a Christian but you sound a lot like one. To automaticly accuse the atheists even as a joke show your bigited thinking you really think it is funny to attack another group of people? What you have done is n different then makeing a joke about another group based on their race. As far as the school banner how would the christians have felt if the Church Of Satan had hug a banner there would they then say they have a right to hang it in a school and if it bothered the Christian children they just didn't have to read it? I think not the Christians were not hurt by haveing to take it down it just put them on a level field with everyone else. A few years ago the town of Somerset put a creche in front of town hall some started to question it the local Christian churches ask the town to remove it because they were afraid that if it stayed that local wiccan groups might demand to be able to put up a display of their own and they didn't want that they felt they had a right to put their religion on public property but no other religions had that same right. Propose to put an Islamic prayer in public schools and watch the outrage.

Theft of a banner, from a church no less. Wow better keep an eye out for the atheist, yea I know that would be religious profiling, but they would be the first I would suspect lol. (Disclaimer for the shill; This is a joke and in know way meant to inflame The Intergalactic Peace Federation of Planets, racial tensions, religious bigotry, atheism beliefs, God, past wars, genocides, atrocities, witches, Satanist, Jews, Masons, Mennonites, Amish, Quakers, or the Quaker Oats guy for that matter. If the humor is not to your liking, feel free to ignore it, rather than attempt to turn it into some conspiracy against atheists lol. On another note, "Class of 78 rules",If you make 60k and are having trouble buying 4 tires, it would appear you need a finacial adviser not another job. lol Just saying ;-}
Mark Wyman April 07, 2012 at 02:25 PM
Bristol seems like such a nice little town who would have thought it was so full of bigots and morons. lol just joking.
Mark Wyman April 07, 2012 at 02:27 PM
This is great you can say anythihg you want about anybody you want and just say just joking at the end and nobody can hold you to what you say. lol
Jack Baillargeron April 07, 2012 at 03:53 PM
Yea kinda like Tiverton. lol just joking
Jack Baillargeron April 07, 2012 at 03:54 PM
