Perry Brothers Stay Jailed on Child Molestation Charges

Richard and Jesse Perry are each charged with felony child molestation, and remain in prison awaiting trial.

 

The two brothers accused of felony child molestation remain in prison awaiting trial following separate court hearings this week.

Richard Perry, 55, first arrested in December on two counts each of first- and second-degree child molestation, appeared at a pre-trial hearing on Jan. 16. He is scheduled to appear at a hearing on his motion to dismiss the charges on Jan. 22.

Also this week, Jesse Perry, 56, waived his right to a bail hearing on Jan. 18, East Bay Newspapers reported. Judge Elaine Bucci ordered him held at the Adult Correctional Institutions for 90 days, and imposed two no-contact orders.

Jesse Perry, arrested by Bristol Police on Jan. 4, faces one count each of first- and second-degree child molestation.
