Several Arraignments, Not Pot, Kids Cussin'

The Warren Police Department reported the following arrests and incidents for Sept. 16 through 18:

Arrested: 

  • Franciso Mello, of 7 Riverside St., on a disorderly conduct charge on Sept. 16 at about 4 p.m. He is scheduled for arraignment on Sept. 27.
  • Brian Miller, of Tennessee, on a charge of driving with a suspended license, on Sept. 18 at about 6:45 a.m. He is scheduled for arraignment on Sept. 27.
  • Daniel Dawson, of Riverside, on a charge of driving with a suspended license, on Sept. 18 at about 8:15 a.m. He is scheduled for arraignment on Sept. 27.
  • Kathleen Accinno, of Barrington, on a charge of driving with a suspended license, on Sept. 19 at about 7:15 p.m. following an accident on Main Street. She is scheduled for arraignment on Sept. 27.
  • Eric Moreira, of Providence, as a fugitive from justice, on Sept. 18 at about 10:45 p.m. The charge was dismissed on Sept. 24.
Other reports:
  • Officers went to Cole Street on Sept. 16 at about 4 p.m. and checked out a call about marijuana plants. The plants were "not marijuana," according to police reports.
  • A resident of Dyer Street reported the theft of a lawnmower on Sept. 18 at about 2 p.m.
  • On Sept. 18 at about 6 p.m., a resident of Central Avenue called police about kids using foul language where her child could hear it. An officer reported to the site and spoke with the juveniles.
