Among Warren's 10,584 residents, the local police department reported 19 instances of violent crime, along with 281 property crimes and 71 burglaries reported for that year. There were also 202 reports of theft.
The FBI data put Warren at number 8 in the state according to a GoLocalProv.com post. Bristol ranked 21st out of 37 communities.
Also included in Warren's violent crime count were seven arrests for robbery and two arrests for rape.
One of those two arrests was that of Richard Perry, charged in December, 2012, with two counts each of first- and second-degree child molestation.
He remains held without bail at the ACI until a scheduled Oct. 16 pretrial hearing.
