An argument over dinner ended when a Warren man, 43, was arrested for domestic simple assault and battery.
Christian Glover, of 6 Union St., allegedly got into a verbal and then a physical altercation with a woman at the same address, said Warren Police Lt. Roland Brule.
“He allegedly threw a number of things at her, including a chair that hit her,” Brule said.
Glover, who was reported to have been drinking, also allegedly pushed the woman to the floor, Brule said.
Warren patrol officers also observed “threatening behavior” from Glover and added the charge of disorderly conduct after he was arrested on Monday, Jan. 20, at around 3:15 pm.
Glover was taken to the Warren Police Station to be arraigned by a justice of the peace. He was released on $3,500 personal recognizance and given a date to appear in District Court to face the charges.
