Warren Police Log: Assault and Obstruction

The following is based on reports from the Warren Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.


The made the following arrests last week:

Arthur Smith, 47, of 100 Almerida Terrace, Apt. 104, Portsmouth, was charged with felony assault with a dangerous weapon, domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct. He also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

Thomas M. O'Connell, 54, of Company Street, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

Brandon Raposa, 20, of 1452 Broncos Highway, Apt. 14, Harrisville, was charged with obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Richard R. Froais, 49, of 6 Greenhouse Court, Warren, was charged with driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test after being pulled over on Arlington Avenue.

Francisco Mello, 55, of 7 River St., Bristol, was charged with disorderly conduct on Market Street.

Brian Thomas, 20, of 7 Davis St., Apt. 3, Warren, was arrested on a 6th District Court bench warrant.

Diane K. Garvin, 18, of 1452 Broncos Highway, Apt. 14, Harrisville, was arrested on a Sixth District Court bench warrant.

Brian Wynott, 29, of 136 East St. Woonsocket, was arrested on a Family Court warrant.

Nelson Amaral, 37, of 18 Roma Drive, Bristol, was arrested on a Sixth District Court bench warrant.
