Woman Wields Meat Cleaver During Domestic Dispute

The Warren Police Department made the following arrests:

Gina M. Andreozzi, 50, of Coomer Ave. in Warren, was charged with domestic felony assault and domestic disorderly conduct after she allegedly hit her husband in the head with a meat cleaver.

The couple reportedly was engaged in an argument when Andreozzi swung the cleaver at her husband's forehead, leaving a three-inch gash. He was bleeding but conscious and alert when officers arrived. He was transported to the hospital, treated and released with minor injuries.

Caleb S. Rome, 25, of 17 Davis St., Warren, was charged with three counts of possession of a prohibited weapon other than a firearm. He reportedly was in possession of a buck knife and two folding knives, each with blades measuring more than three inches.

Jason Depina, 36, of 136 King Phillip Road, East Providence, was charged with driving with a suspended license after being pulled over on Water Street.

Gerard V. Paolino, 55, of 211 Market St., Apt. 1, Warren, was charged with driving with a suspended license after being pulled over on Main Street.

Christopher J. Minion, 31, of 73 Gooding Ave., Bristol, was arrested on a Sixth District Court bench warrant.

Amy E. Conti, 38, of 27A Asselin St., Apt. 1, Warren, was arrested on a Sixth District Court bench warrant.

Kerry A. Bergeron, 25, of 20 Union St., Apt. 2, Warren, was arrested on a Sixth District Court bench warrant.

Roger M. Daly, 33, of 381 Metacom Ave., Warren, was arrested on a Sixth District Court bench warrant after officers responded to reports of a domestic incident.
