Cicilline to Deliver Childrens' "Valentine's for Veterans"

Cards will be delivered to veterans at the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol.

U.S. Congressman David N. Cicilline will be delivering Valentine's Day cards to veterans at the Rhode Island Veteran's Home in Bristol on Monday to say thanks for their service.

The cards were prepared by students throughout the first district after the congressman asked for students to volunteer to take part in his "Valentine's for Veteran's" initiative.

It's the third year Cicilline has organized the Valentine's for Veterans program.

He'll start his day at the VA Medical Center in Providence at 9 a.m. and is expected to be at the Rhode Island Veteran's Home at 480 Metacom Avenue at 10:30 a.m.
