President Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney faced off in round 2 of the presidential debate season Tuesday night, jockeying to win an electorate split on the best candidate, according to the latest polls.

With the public dead-locked and only one more head-to-head match-up remaining before the Nov. 6 election, Tuesday's Town Hall-style debate was a critical contest.

Unable to defend his own record, Obama - with the help of the obviously biased Candy Crowley - spent most of the night interrupting Romney as he sought to refute Obama's repeated lies as to his plans and record. This mirrored the offensive tactics of Joe Biden, showing just how bankrupt their campaign really is. Romney was much more Presidential in his demeanor. Obama just looked desperate. johnjjh

Well put, John. I'm shocked that more people don't pick up on the fact that after 4 years, the President should be able to just say, "Hey look what I did the last 4 years...", like Reagan did, like W did, like Clinton did... but it seems that his supporters can't clue in to that simple observation.
