The Audubon Society of Rhode Island is offering a weeklong schedule of FREE guided walks at wildlife refuges across the state and nearby Massachusetts. There are programs to suit all ages, interests, and capabilities - from mild birding walks on easy trails to vernal pool explorations that might get a bit wet and muddy! It's a fun, free celebration of planet Earth. These events are scheduled in Bristol:
April 17: Seaside Adventure, (shore) 1-2:30 pm
April 18: Outdoor Explorations, (Fields), 10:30 am to 11:30 am
April 19: Ants on Your Plants, 10 am to noon
April 20: Outdoor Explorations: Forest and Treetops 10 am to noon
April 21: Outdoor Explorations: Salt Marsh, 10:30 - 11:30 am
April 22: Outdoor Explorations: Shore and Bay, 10:30 - 11:30 am
