MUSE Repeats 'Awesome Affordable Art Show'

The second annual show starts with a reception on Thursday, Nov. 21.

The MUSE gallery in Warren is doing it again.

Elizabeth Keipert, owner of MUSE, said her gallery’s art show last year was such a hit that she is  doing it again – “this time with even more artists, including some beloved favorites and some new to MUSE.”

Billed as “The Awesome Affordable Art Show,” it will open with a reception on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 5 – 8 pm. She is serving beverages and "nibbles."

Keipert describes the show “an eclectic, accessible contemporary art collection … that is at once affordable and, like everything else in the shop, American-made with fair labor.”

Among the artists to be displaying their work will be returnees Nikki McClure and Elly MacKay along with newcomers such as mixed media artist Lauren Enjeti of Bristol, pattern designer Holly Emidy of Warren, and Andrea Lauren, Betsy Olmsted, and Clare Elsaesser.

“Low cost prints, both mounted as well as unframed, will be offered during the show and as part of the ongoing collection at MUSE,” she said. “There will also be stretched canvas paintings this year.

MUSE, now in its seventh year, also is known for its jewelry collection. Among the nationally recognized jewelers who display their work at the Warren shop are Warren’s own Carla Caruso, Kyler Designs and Christina Goodman.

The gallery is located at 420 Main St.
