Youth Soccer Takes Win in End of Year Tournament

The girls took home gold on Dec. 29

Bristol Shooters U8 girls took it all and brought home the gold during an Indoor Soccer Tournament on Thursday, Dec. 29, held at the Wide World of Indoor Sports in North Smithfield.

The team, comprised of Bristol and Warren players, won the first four games and received an automatic invitation to compete in the final game.

They won all five games played that day, shutting out all their opponents. The girls were each awarded with a gold medal and the team received a trophy.

Team members include Aditi Mehta, Angela Lee, Lyla Biancuzzo, Sophie Pimental, Joviana Goldstein, Hailey Osmanski, Tori Coroa, Abigail Taylor Ainsley Pattie, Phoebe Chase, and Goalie Logan Levesque.

Congratulations on your tournament championship. It is wonderful to see many of the former players contribute (as coaches) to a program (BYSA) that you gained from ... old memories.
