Youth Soccer Takes Win in End of Year Tournament

The girls took home gold on Dec. 29

Bristol Shooters U8 girls took it all and brought home the gold during an Indoor Soccer Tournament on Thursday, Dec. 29, held at the Wide World of Indoor Sports in North Smithfield.

The team, comprised of Bristol and Warren players, won the first four games and received an automatic invitation to compete in the final game.

They won all five games played that day, shutting out all their opponents. The girls were each awarded with a gold medal and the team received a trophy.

The team is currently finishing their first indoor session this year at Teamworks where they are the only U8 girl’s team that is undefeated. They will compete in the finals on Saturday, January 21.

The team is coached by Assistant Coach Mark Biancuzzo, Head Coach Jerry Pimental and Assistant Coach Marc Levesque.

Team members include Aditi Mehta, Angela Lee, Lyla Biancuzzo, Sophie Pimental, Joviana Goldstein, Hailey Osmanski, Tori Coroa, Abigail Taylor Ainsley Pattie, Phoebe Chase, and Goalie Logan Levesque.
