URI Garden Tour to Stop at Two Bristol Sites

The "Gardening with the Masters Tour" by the University of Rhode Island is set to make stops at two private gardens in Bristol.

Two Bristol residents will have their handiwork on display this weekend as part of the sixth "Gardening with the Masters" tour organized by the University of Rhode Island's Master Gardener Program.

John Allen and Judy Arruda are two of the newest additions to the Saturday and Sunday tour, which includes 35 private and public gardens around the state, according to the tour website.

Tickets for the two-day event — held rain or shine — are $20, and are available at garden centers and Blithewold Mansion, Gardens, and Arboretum in Bristol.

Included in the ticket price is a detailed guidebook with driving directions to all of the locations.

One guidebook per adult. Kids are free.

Online orders are no longer available — click here for a list of locations around Rhode Island.
