Online Auction to Benefit Women's Resource Center

All proceeds will benefit the Warren and Newport Women's Resource Centers.

The Women's Resource Center, located in and Newport, are hosting the first annual Men Who Make A Difference online auction, featuring several items donated by local businesses.

Items in the online auction include an East Bay Night Out at , a Rhode Island Restaurant Sampler from Brick Alley Pub, a Newport Vineyards Tour and Tasting for Six, a Foursome of Golf at the Newport Country Club and more. New items are added every few days.

Proceeds from the Men Who Make A Difference Auction will go to the Women's Resource Center to support the organization's free and confidential services provided to victims, survivors, and family members of domestic violence.

On May 4, the Women's Resource Center will also be hosting the Men Who Make A Difference banquet to honor several local men for their service including Wayne Gablinske of ., Matt Hayes of . During the banquet, a live auction will be held for prizes including tickets to Walt Disney World, a one week stay on Martha's Vineyard, artwork, and Chef Jerry DuPont to provide dinner for six in your own home.
