Here's a look at what's happening this week in Bristol and Warren:

Monday: East Bay Chamber of Commerce hosts a workshop by LizBESocial on Social Media Marketing Made Simple at 4 p.m. Includes a hands-on exercise creating a Facebook cover page.

Wednesday: David Coombs, lead defense counsel for Bradley (now Chelsea) Manning, visits Roger Williams University for a talk. Reservations required. Email to: lawevents@rwu.edu

Thursday: Julio Amaro brings his Kinoptic Art to Coastal Living Gallery on Water Street in Warren. Reception for the artist begins at 5 p.m.

Also Thursday night, 2nd Story Theatre runs a dress rehearsal for Dancing at Lughnasa to benefit Literacy Volunteers of East Bay. The Lit-Vols are selling a limited number of $20 tickets for this show. Tickets by phone at (401) 247-2177, ask for Susan.

Friday: Linden Place winds back the clock to the 20's for Friday night's Big Toast to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State. Food, wine, microbrews, cordials, mixes. You? Get 50 percent off the $50 ticket price.
