See what's planned for this weekend in Bristol and Warren.

What are you doing this weekend in Bristol and Warren?

The forecast for Sept. 13 to 15 calls for a chance of thunderstorms on Friday with clearing on Saturday and Sunday — so get out and enjoy some of these great events.

On Friday night, Linden Place hosts the "Care for Rare" Silent Auction beginning at 7 p.m. to support the Rare Disease United Foundation.

Great food, entertainment by 2013 New England Music Award Winners The Adam Ezra Group, and the touted auction are on the bill.

Since it's Friday the 13th, organizers are asking folks to wear an article of clothing inside-out to ward off bad luck. Attendees can also pick up a faux rabbit's foot and other lucky charms.

Online tickets available for $50 each.

Also Friday night, Mt. Hope Farm hosts its Steak Fry and Pie Baking Contest starting at 6 p.m. Friday.

Adult menu includes steak, corn on the cob and salad for $20 per person. Kids menu offers hot dog, half an ear of corn, and salad for $8.

There'll also be face-painting for the kids, plus the much-anticipated apple pie contest. Destiny's Home Town Diner is providing the ice cream for pie a la mode. $100 cash prize for the first place pie. $10 entry fee for two pies.

Online tickets for the event are $20 per adult, $7 per child. Call (401) 254-1745 for more information.

There's more fun on the farm set for Saturday and Sunday, too — Coggeshall Farm is throwing its Annual Harvest Fair, including "unplugged" games and lots of other activities.

Plus, you can just walk around and see what life was like on an 18th-century Rhode Island farm.

10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Admission is $8 adults, $5 kids and seniors, under 3 free.

Get your heart rate going on Saturday morning with the Bristol Parks and Rec Department's free Early Bird Boot Camp starting at 7 a.m. at Independence Park.

From the group's Patch Calendar note: "Wear your workout attire and be prepared to sweat."

Water provided by Bristol Total Fitness.

Saturday night, Market Street Pub in Warren hosts live acoustic music with Greg Arruda and Lenny "Papa Jweeb" Vales. Show starts around 7:30 p.m.

And on Sunday, wrap up your weekend with the Narragansett Bay Chorus at Warren Baptist Church, scheduled for 3 p.m.

Barbershop quartet-style melodies and a capella gems. $15 for adults, kids 12 and under $10. Call (401) 245-2216 for tickets; also available at the door.
