Saving the Warren Summer Recreation Program

The Warren Recreation Summer program needs your help.

Were you ever BOY/GIRL of the year, did you every bring a pet for the pet show, did you learn to swim at the Warren Beach?

For Generations this program has contributed to the fiber of our community.  Everyone has a story about nok hockey tournaments, Brisol/Warren field day, bowling, arts & crafts, homerun derby, and activities that filled the summer.  Whether you went to Homestead, Child Street, Hugh Cole, Burr's Hill, Jamiel's Park, Laurel Park or the gymnastics program you remember meeting up with friends, hanging out with the supervisors, weekly contests and the end of the summer trip to Rocky Point.
It was a safe place for the youth of town to gather and a great summer job for the town's college students.

THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN ELIMINATED due to budget retraints and we want to bring it back for the summer of 2014.  We want our children to continue the traditions and continue to have a safe place to enjoy their summer.

How you can help - please donate to our cause, if all the community members who have been effected by this program were to make a donation - we would have enough to continue the program for the next generation.

SHARE YOUR STORIES - Do you have a special story to share, Who can forget Pete Sepe, Al Sweet, Doc Abbruzzi, Gary Martins and countless other characters that influenced your childhood.
