Before taking classes at Bristol Yoga Studio, I had tried yoga a few times but just never felt a connection to it. Then I moved to Bristol and heard from more than a few people that I should give BYS a chance. I did - am I am so very glad. From my first class there, I have felt very at home in the studio. It is a welcoming, intimate space, and I never feel overwhelmed because the class is too big or there is too much going on. Even as a very new student, I never felt intimidated or like I didn't belong. Each of the teachers I've practiced with has been enlightening, encouraging and attentive, and each one brings a little something different to class. Whether I want to focus on stretching, breathing, strengthening or meditating, there is always a class for me. No matter what my state of mind is when I arrive at the studio, when I leave I feel refreshed, relaxed and invigorated. Yoga class at Bristol Yoga Studio is like a gift I give to myself each time I go.
