McDonald's
401-245-5049
In 1940 Dick and Mac McDonalds' Bar-B-Que in San Bernardino, Calif., was a typical drive-in restaurant with car hops. In 1954, a Multimixer salesman, Ray Kroc called on the McDonalds to try to sell them a mixer. He learned that the McDonald brothers were looking for a nationwide franchising agent. From here Ray Kroc transformed McDonald's from a small local drive-in to a multinational phenomenon identified by the now famous Golden Arches. In Warren, the arches can be found on Route 136 at 636 Metacom Avenue.
