On the National Register of Historic Places is the Governor Bradford House – a Country Inn on the Mount Hope Farm. Established in 1745 and considered a mansion in its early days, this impressive house is furnished with antiques but modern amenities.
Mount Hope was in existence before the settlers landed at Plymouth Rock, its history traceable back to the Native Americans. Today, the farm is a beautiful place whose mission it is to preserve and protect one of Bristol's most valued treasures. The Farm is a piece of that heritage. It is open to the public and hours are posted at various locations on the farm. For your special events, call Mount Hope Farm at 401-254-5059 or visit its website.
