Our Lady of Mt. Carmel
401-253-9449
Originally founded by and for Italian Catholics in Bristol, RI back in 1917, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel today is full of people of many heritages but still has a predominantly Italian American congregation. The Church hosts the feast honoring Mary, Queen of Carmel on July 16th of every year. It is the oldest feast honoring Mary in all of Rhode Island and was started here in Bristol in 1899. The Church itself is full of sun-lit stained glass windows and serene statues. The Reverend Henry P. Zinno, Jr. welcomes all to visit the parish and attend Holy Mass.
