Bristol Police Log: Warrant Arrest, Repo, Dumpster Fire

The following information was provided by the Bristol Police Department. Where an arrest is noted, it does not indicate a conviction.

  The Bristol Police Department reported the following recent arrests and incidents: Arrested: Nicole Pacheco, of 41 Thompson Ave., on warrants issued by Sixth District Court, Providence, and Seekonk Police, on Jan. 26 at about 1:30 pm. The Sixth District Court warrant was issued for failure to appear at a payment review for a charge of larceny under $1,500. Officers transported Pacheco to the Adult Correctional Institutions, Cranston. Other reports:

Bristol Man Accused of Pawning $900 Watch

Newport Police reported the arrest of the 20-year-old on Jan. 3; a pre-trial is scheduled for next week.

  A Bristol man faces misdemeanor charge of receiving stolen goods following his arrest by Newport Police last week. Zachary Sears, 20, of 36 First School St., pleaded not guilty to the charge at his Jan. 3 arraignment in Sixth District Court, Providence, and is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing on Jan. 16. According to Newport Patch, officers in that city arrested Sears at about 1 pm on Jan. 3 on a warrant issued by Middletown Police last summer after the owner of the watch reported it stolen. Police located the watch at Fall River Pawn Brokers in Newport, and estimated its value at $900.  According to Newport Police, Sears admitted to stealing the watch in a text message to the man, who is the father of Sears's ex-girlfriend.
