Mt. Hope Boys Dominate Fatima
The Mt. Hope High School Huskies refused to fall prey to the Tigers of Our Lady of Fatima High School.
Our Lady of Fatima Tigers, 0-1 (0-2), fought hard to win their first game of the season, but the Huskies, 2-1 (2-2), would not allow it to be at their expense. The Mt. Hope Huskies Boys' Basketball team won the the game, 76 - 50. Down by nine points early in the first half, the Tigers clawed their way back to within 3 points with 2:51 left before the break. It didn't take long for the Huskies to go on a 9 - 1 run of their own, extending the lead at the half, 32 - 21. The second half played out with the same results. The Huskies continued to make key shots and use their speed on fast breaks to increase the lead to 14 points early in the second half and never looked back, winning by a 26 point margin.
