Bristol, Warren Police Report Rash of Car Break-Ins
Police are reminding residents to keep vehicle doors locked.
Bristol and Warren Police were busy responding to a rash complaints from residents this weekend who reported that their cars were entered overnight and items had been stolen. According to Lt. Roland Brule of the Warren Police Department, officers received calls from more than 25 residents reporting that their vehicles had been entered sometime on Saturday evening. Lt. Brule said all of the vehicles entered were unlocked, so technically the incident is not deemed a "breaking and entering", but many residents reported items stolen such as change, cell phones and GPS electronics.
