The Bristol Town Council appointed two new directors to the Bristol County Water Authority on Wednesday evening, Dr. Paul Bishop and Mr. Joseph Demelo. We welcome both of these gentlemen and commend them for stepping up to the plate. There is much to be done. Councilwoman Parella welcomed both new directors and validated that the road ahead will be challenging and wished them the best. You can view the video of the meeting on the Bristol Town Hall site and I urge you to particularly look at the comments made to Joe Demelo after his appointment (can be found at 1:58 into the tape). If the BCWA had nothing to hide then they wouldn't need an attorney to answer any and all questions. If they didn't use an attorney I wouldn't be surprised if they answered "I respectfully decline to answer the question, as I honestly believe my answer might tend to incriminate me.
