Josephine L. Coggeshall: Lifelong Bristol Resident
The Bristol native and 1944 graduate of Colt Memorial High School passed away on Dec. 11, 2012.
Ms. Josephine L. Coggeshall, age 88 of 1 Overlook Drive, Bristol, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Alice F. (Downey) Coggeshall. She was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Bristol, Class of 1944. She worked as an assembler for 20 years for the former Dixon Corp, formerly in Bristol retiring in 1989. Josephine was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bristol. She is survived by her godson, Matthew H. White and his wife, Sue, of Bristol, with whom she had made her home, and their children, Lisa J. Mello and her husband, Thomas; Patrick M.
