Fourth of July Royalty Crowned
The 64th Annual Miss Fourth of July/16th Annual Little Miss Fourth of July Pageant was held at the Mt. Hope High School auditorium Saturday night.
Alexandra Absi was crowned Miss Fourth of July 2012 Saturday night, and Samantha Martins was named Little Miss Fourth of July 2012. Rounding out the Miss Fourth of July Court were Lea Alexandre, first runner-up; Rachel Koger, second runner-up; Marisa Silva, third runner-up, and Tiffany Costa, fourth runner-up. Little Miss Fourth of July first runner-up was Elizabeth Wagoner, and second runner-up was Alyssa Brule. Also, the contestants selected Rachel Koger to receive the Miss Congeniality award. Eleven young women from 16 to 20 competed in the Miss Fourth part of the program, and 15 girls ages 7-9 participated in the Little Miss Fourth competition. Congratulations to all the girls. It was another wonderful 4th of July event. All the girls from the Little Miss to the Court - they were great and showed grace. I look forward to participate in future events with all of them. more ›
